GONZO

Age: 2 years old

Gonzo is a beautiful brindle boy with a big heart and friendly nature. He’s a happy young hound who plays well with other dogs and is great going for walks and good on the lead. He’s a smart boy who easily navigates stairs and is the perfect apartment dog. He loves a big cuddle and lots of pats.

JESSIE

A special girl in need of a special home

Colour: Black

Age: 4 years old

Jessie is a lovable girl with a big heart and an adventurous spirit.

She has lots of energy and needs to be stimulated, both in mind and body.  She needs a place to run, preferably with other dog(s) or a really good walk and time spent with her people.  While she shows no sign of separation anxiety, she will dig out to your neighbours to say hi if left for too long by herself. She loves a good walk and has a great time in the car.

Jessie gets along well with other dogs of all breeds and sizes but not so well with cats.   She loves a squeaky toy and actually chases the ball at the dog park (which is not a lot of fun for her non greyhound friends).

Jessie would suit someone who has the space to let her stretch her legs, take her on walks, and have the time to spend with her, or have a mate for her to live with.

She can do stairs and learns very quickly when there is food involved!

Jessie will need a really understanding owner as she still has some traits that need refining. She would go well with a confident or experienced dog owner who can remain calm and relaxed when she resource guards her bed and unexpectedly growls like a rotti!!

Not known to bark, even when the neighbours’ dogs are yapping away.

We would recommend that Jessie is not housed with young children due to the resource guarding behaviour.

CHASE

Colour: Brindle

Age: 6 years old

A gorgeous brindle boy who loves a big cuddle and a long snooze. Chase is very polite and loves meeting children and other dogs of all shapes and sizes. Chase is suited to someone who enjoys chilling out as much as he does.

BARNEY

Colour: Black
Age: 3 years old

A lovely young boy with a sweet nature who is a bit shy at times . Anyone who meets Barney loves his beautiful almond eyes and his gorgeous shiny coat. He’s playful and is great with other dogs. Barney is suited to someone who can give him the time and patience to develop his confidence.
