Edelman, who we call Ede, is looking for his forever home. Unlike other greyhounds, Ede gets on great with cats and is a calm and loving soul. Ede loves people and is great with kids. He loves a walk and loves to explore and sniff around.

Ede has some medical needs and would suit someone who has a regular routine and can make sure Ede gets the regular daily care he needs. If you have a yard for Ede to explore and a couch for him to snuggle up with you, Ede might be the perfect greyhound for you.

RICKY

This gorgeous old boy is looking for his forever home. Ricky is a gorgeous greyhound with a very calm and chilled out nature. He is great with kids and other greyhounds and big dogs. Ricky can be a little apprehensive around smaller dogs and does not get along well with cats.

Ricky loves his daily walk and is keen for a run…for about 5 minutes before he’s ready for a nap. And once he’s ready for a nap, he loves a good cuddle and lots of pats. If you are looking for a chilled out greyhound to cuddle up to, Ricky might be the greyhound for you.

This sweet boy is looking for his forever home. Jim is a sweet natured gentleman who loves a good snuggle on the couch.

Jim is great with other dogs and good with kids. Nothing fazes Jim and he takes every new adventure with his foster parents in his stride. He is a smart boy who has mastered the dog door and will not hesitate to come straight up to you for pats. Jim is a gentle soul and would be the perfect addition to any family.

Jack loves chilling out on the lounge when he’s not making his current foster parents laugh as he comes out of his shell. Jack is great with all types of dogs and even gets along with cats. Jack loves pats and cuddles and would be the perfect addition to your family.

TOMMY

This gorgeous boy is looking for his forever home. Tommy is a sweet, curious boy who is social and loves playing other dogs of all shapes and sizes. He is good with kids and has no problem going up and down stairs.

Tommy is great on the lead, loves his daily walks and is always happy to go for a ride in the car. He loves chilling out in the air con and will follow you around when you’re at home. Tommy likes lots of love and attention and would be the perfect addition to your family.

BARNEY SUN

Another beautiful Barney is looking for his forever home. 

Barney is a calm, chilled out boy who is social and somewhat indifferent to other dogs. Barney Sun is good with kids but not great with small animals or rabbits.

Barney currently enjoys two walks a day at a slow pace and like all greys, this gorgeous boy loves nothing better than a big long snooze. He also enjoys frolicking in the water.

He walks well on the lead, and can do stairs (although he’s more confident going up than down) and he currently resides in an apartment.

A typical greyhound boy, while he is calm being left alone, when you get home expect him to be a big mushy boy who wants lots of love and attention. Barney Sun would suit someone who can give him lots of pats and cuddles and enjoys a slower pace of life.

VEVI

Colour: Brindle

Age: 4 years old

This adorable young girl will be a great family dog.  She has a beautiful friendly nature, is very relaxed with kids and is always up for a cuddle.

Vevi (short for Velocity Viola) is a bright girl who walks well on the lead and can do stairs, so she is perfect for anyone in an apartment. She loves playing with other greyhounds and is calm with other dogs.

This beautiful brindle girl has so much love to give and would suit someone who has the time and patience to give her all the love she deserves and help her work through some separation anxiety issues.

GONZO

Age: 2 years old

Gonzo is a beautiful brindle boy with a big heart and friendly nature. He’s a happy young hound who plays well with other dogs and is great going for walks and good on the lead. He’s a smart boy who easily navigates stairs and is the perfect apartment dog. He loves a big cuddle and lots of pats.

JESSIE

A special girl in need of a special home

Colour: Black

Age: 4 years old

Jessie is a lovable girl with a big heart and an adventurous spirit.

She has lots of energy and needs to be stimulated, both in mind and body.  She needs a place to run, preferably with other dog(s) or a really good walk and time spent with her people.  While she shows no sign of separation anxiety, she will dig out to your neighbours to say hi if left for too long by herself. She loves a good walk and has a great time in the car.

Jessie gets along well with other dogs of all breeds and sizes but not so well with cats.   She loves a squeaky toy and actually chases the ball at the dog park (which is not a lot of fun for her non greyhound friends).

Jessie would suit someone who has the space to let her stretch her legs, take her on walks, and have the time to spend with her, or have a mate for her to live with.

She can do stairs and learns very quickly when there is food involved!

Jessie will need a really understanding owner as she still has some traits that need refining. She would go well with a confident or experienced dog owner who can remain calm and relaxed when she resource guards her bed and unexpectedly growls like a rotti!!

Not known to bark, even when the neighbours’ dogs are yapping away.

We would recommend that Jessie is not housed with young children due to the resource guarding behaviour.

CHASE

Age: 6 years old

A gorgeous brindle boy who loves a big cuddle and a long snooze. Chase is very polite and loves meeting children and other dogs of all shapes and sizes. Chase is suited to someone who enjoys chilling out as much as he does.
