Unfortunately Star had a little accident not long ago, but his now ready to find a very special forever home just as special as he is!
Here is what his foster carer has to say about him:
Star is friendly and fit into our house with two other greyhounds easily. He greets other dogs politely on walks and is calm around children.
He loves all kinds of food and treats and is easy to train. He knew 'sit' and 'down' before his accident but we only ask him to do 'sit' now, because getting up and down is a little bit harder.
His favourite thing in the world is a walk. He goes for a brisk 15 min walk every morning. He loves fluffy toys with squeakers and rolling on the grass. He also loves car rides and will lay down in the car when asked.
He is approachable and always greets visitors with a happy wag, but he can also be a little timid. For example, it took him a couple of weeks before he was confident enough to jump on the lounge. He didn't lick at first either but now he licks my face every day when I come home from work. I think he would suit people who will appreciate that it will take him a few months to really come out of his shell and build his confidence.
He stays home for 9 hours when we're at work and he copes well. I think if he had a puzzle toy with food he wouldn't even notice you were gone!
